Inore | Events - INORE SYMPOSIUM 2012

INORE's flagship event will be hosted in Denmark this year: 20 -25 May 2012. The symposium is open to early stage researchers anywhere in the world and we don't charge any fees.

The Inore annual symposium is a week long residential experience for early stage researchers in offshore renewable energy. The week consists of tutorials, collaborative tasks, keynotes, and presentations from all 60 attendees.

The hostel where the Symposium will be taking place

Thanks to INORE's sponsors, we will provide accommodation, food, and activities with no cost to you. This may include some interesting visits to the Renewable sites of Jutland.

We'll provide transport from AALBORG airport to the hostel, and later in the week we'll take you surfing in "Cold Hawaii".

The Symposium is a great occasion to get to know new people and share experience

Download the attached PPT Template and fill it it in with your infos
- Picture of you, Flag of your country of birth, title of your work.
- The background of your PPT should reflect your area. Blue for Tidal, Green for Wave and Red for Wind

Inore is organizing a Symposium in the Americas. You can apply to attend both of them. We are committed to insure that 20% of the places for the Symposium in Denmark will be reserved for people outside of Europe. We hope to be able to provide financial support for travel from outside Europe.

My application for being Inorians accepted but I can not subscribe to this event. WHY?

Hi Stephan, you are not restricted to applying. However you will need to write an abstract about the work that you are doing and if accepted you will have to produce a poster on the work that you carry out. Therefore describe in 200/300 words your work and submit the application.

is it possible to subscribe to this event when we are not researcher but engineer ?

Hello, i work as mechanical engineer in the "Ideol Offshore" company (based in France) and i mainly work on mooring systems for a windturbine floater (i work expecially on connectors, i have CAD anf FEA activities, design and fatigue calculations, hydro calculation performed by means of Orcaflex software) . As such, i have no abstract but i would like to join to this event to share experience on mooring systems. I have joined last year the FWT challenge during the OMAE , and i found that is was a great opportunity to do this too ! MAy i know if i can join this event ?
