On May 17th MARIN (Maritime Research Institute Netherlands) and INORE participated at EWEC2012, the European Wind Energy Conference held in Copenhagen, Denmark.

A poster describing the Floating Wind Turbine Challenge, a successful 24 hours activity carried out at MARIN testing facilities by 30 INOREans in June 2011 was introduced. The poster reached lot of interest from students, researchers and industry members and proved to show that join forces in an international team environment can successfully solve part of our energy challenges. INORE is very grateful to all the support, effort and help from MARIN, particularly to the great enthusiasm of Sebastian Gueydon in promoting the INORE network.
